Equipment Management
Voltage management
Due to the increasing decentralized power supply of photovoltaic power plants, wind turbines, hydropower plants, biogas power stations, cogeneration and other power producers, the problem of voltage rise in the circuits of our power supply network is becoming more and more serious. In addition, the voltage regulator will automatically compensate the cable or wiring voltage drop caused by increased energy consumption in about 300 milliseconds, and each phase will be compensated separately. The use of voltage regulators can save costs. By using voltage regulators, the expensive investment in substation construction, coupled with the additional construction of new medium voltage cables, can be avoided or delayed for several years. The voltage regulator will automatically adjust the voltage fluctuation of the long cable at the low voltage level in about 300 milliseconds. At present, their output power is between 34 kVA and 1000 kVA.
Speed management
Overspeed and low speed monitoring, use the residual voltage to conduct sensorless speed measurement, and speed relay to measure the speed of generator and motor. The principle is based on frequency measurement of generator voltage. The residual voltage of the asynchronous generator is sufficient because the amplitude is only measured from 0.7 V. Because of the measuring principle, no sensor is required.
Frequency management
Monitor the underfrequency and overfrequency, and the frequency relay measures the frequency of the generator and motor. The principle is based on frequency measurement of generator voltage. The input range is 80-500 V AC. The measurement converter of WA-FR8/G displays the frequency at the output as standard signal 2-10 V DC.
Current management
The task of the mesh current controller FLOW-R is to control the current in the mesh low-voltage network or ring grid to balance the strong current fluctuations in parallel mesh lines. These two Kirchhoff's laws are realized by FLOW-R, which forms the basis of the controller. If the controller needs to take action, the controller will become active, and send appropriate dynamic compensation current through monitoring the power grid by connecting or disconnecting the adaptive tap changer.
